On Thursday May 24, Cam Lett from Reading New Zealand was awarded the Michael Eldred Unsung Hero award for his services to the New Zealand film industry. As the name suggests, the award recognizes a person in the industry who quietly goes about their job for the betterment of the overall business. Cam is a long term dedicated employee of Reading and has also been instrumental in the flawless technical success of the New Zealand International Film Festival in Wellington. Peter Garner, Chairman of the NZMPIC summed up the industry’s thoughts on Cam in saying “Cam’s commitment and dedication to his job is unquestionable. He sets a great example to all who work with him”. Cam currently works as part of our film programming team looking after Australia and New Zealand.
